In September, there were 37 homes sold that were detached and priced up to $1.2M (my target for these blog entries). That is the highest number of homes in that range that sold in any month in 2010. That is a good sign for this segment of the Carmel Valley market. On average, it took 47 days for these homes to sell – just a month and a half. Also a good sign, showing that home sellers and buyers are coming to terms relatively quickly because sellers are pricing their homes more realistically and in line with buyer expectations.
