About Kevin P. Cummins

I began my real estate career as a real estate attorney in New York City, which helped prepare me to understand and navigate the technical aspects of a successful real estate transaction. Tough but fair negotiations are a part of each deal I put together. I know from experience that in order to keep a deal together, you need to know when to push and when to pull. Putting the client’s interests first is where client trust begins. My clients benefit from the confidential advice I offer and the experience I bring to resolve the thorniest issues. I can provide assistance to my clients with any need that may arise, from help with a mortgage loan, locating an inspector, contractor, solar professional, escrow, title or interior designers, stagers, or professional cleaning services.

 

Patience, being detail-oriented, and a good problem solver are some of the qualities that help me to achieve my client’s goals year in and year out. The goal of working with each client is to provide a concierge level of professional service, resulting in a seamless and positive client experience. Being creative, calm, and drama-free also helps me achieve success for my clients, regardless of the challenge or what the market is doing. My focus on knowing the data and understanding market conditions forms the solid foundation on which I have built my business and reputation. Many of my clients are acclaimed professionals, such as attorneys, software developers, electrical and microchip engineers, physicians, scientists, biomedical researchers, educators, senior management, and accountants. All of my clients appreciate my approach to handling the biggest transaction in their lives, which always includes the utmost care, respect, and the highest level of representation in the real estate field.

 

I attended Fordham College at Lincoln Center in Manhattan, NY, where I earned a B.A. in Political Science with a Minor Degree in Philosophy. I served as the Editor-in-Chief of the University’s Journal of Philosophy and Social Sciences where I wrote two articles for the Journal. I also graduated from Fordham School of Law in Manhattan, NY, where I studied law and earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D.). While in law school, I published a Note entitled “Trade Secrets: How the Charming Betsy Canon May Do More To Weaken Environmental Laws Than The WTO’s Trade Rules” in the Fordham Environmental Law Journal (2001), where I also served as Editor-in-Chief.

 

I am a member of the North County Estate Planning Council, which is a group of estate planning, legal, real estate, finance, insurance, and philanthropic professionals.
