Pacific Highlands Ranch

In case you missed it…

According to a recent article in the Carmel Valley News, the long-awaited update to the Pacific Highlands Ranch Public Facilities Financing Plan (that’s a mouth-full) is ready to be sent to the City Council for approval.

Development is approaching 1,900 homes which is a threshold that requires facilities to be completed before Pardee or other builders could proceed with additional home-building.

Pardee is eager to see things move forward and even offered to pay for the first 2 years of maintenance of the proposed Gonzalez Neighborhood Park, which Pardee will also build.

Great news for Carmel Valley because PHR residents now have to use other facilities, which burdens those shopping centers, parks, schools, etc., and really great news for PHR residents because they will finally get the community amenities they were promised when they bought their homes, and have been paying for. They will even be getting their own elementary school, which will be a part of the Solana Beach school district.
